Kimberly: I am okay. I have an infection in my knee (what you all suspected). I am on 2 antibiotics, one of which can turn my tears, among other things, red. It should be improved within 48 hrs, if not I will have to do IV antibiotics. The other knee has tendonitis.
Love,
Kimberly
Myrna: Did the doctor say that it was septicemia or a septic joint? Julie had septicemia when she stepped on a barn nail. It is an infection in which large amounts of bacteria are present in the blood. In the "old" days it was commonly referred to as blood poisoning. Do just what the doctor said so that it doesn't get worse.
Love, M
Kimberly: This is what it sounds like to me, Cellulitis. I think I am doing okay, it's not bright red, however tonight it is itchy and it is red below the line I drew. Not a deep red, but a light red. Shawn says to look at again tomorrow. There is still some heat.
Myrna: I sent you a medical note about it. Keep taking care of it so that you get better fast. Should you be OK for the hike? Love, M
