It is ready.

Last Friday evening, when we were at the temple, I was the greeter at the door. When Mona and Levon Grundvig came to the temple she said, “Good, I have a gift for you and now I won’t have to find you.” Then she handed me Grandma Edna’s file sheet approved and ready to do the work. The baptism, as you know, was done in her youth. The initiatory and endowment are ready to be done. She thought, since I have talked to her many times, that I may like to do the work.

If you would like to be there, at the temple and on the session, let me know. I don’t know how you feel about our doing the work on Saturday. Julie and AnnMarie have urged me to go ahead because they think Mom has waited long enough. They cannot be in attendance. Eric said he thought I should go ahead and then, as part of your party, we could celebrate the work being done.

The sealing to her parents is not going to be done until later. Her last brother died some months ago and Levon wants to wait until he gets that work done and then have the family sealed all at once.

He could apply for and get permission to do the family work because Grandma Edna’s mother was a Grundvig. Since he is living head of the family line and a blood relative he does not need my half-sister’s nor my father’s permission.

Kirsten called last night and when I told her she said that she would be happy either way. If we wanted to wait until summer so we could all be there, she would be OK with that or she would be OK with doing it now. Please let me know what you think in a fast hurry.

How Do You Feel About This?

Kirsten is coming for the farewell party for Todd. It is a surprise for him. Kirsten was wondering if we could, by any stretch do it this Saturday, while she is here.  If you would like to be there, at the temple and on the session, let me know. I don’t know how you feel about that. Julie and AnnMarie have urged me to go ahead because they think Mom has waited long enough. They cannot be in attendance. Dad and I are scheduled to do the Adam and Eve part on Saturday at noon. I am thinking, that if Kirsten wants, I can do the initiatory on Friday and she could do Grandma Edna’s endowment.
