Helen's 80th

Nanci Done wrote:
Hello Aunt Myrna and Uncle Tim! I hope this note finds you both well and happy! I have been so busy I can't see straight!! I HAVE to get the ball rolling on my mom's party. I'm curious if Uncle Tim was able to get a hold of my mom's ward for possible dates of availability.

Can you give me some dates that you and Uncle Tim are availabe. (Saturdays in July) that we could do this. A couple of dates would be great so I can make sure everyone else can do the same day. I will work my schedule around yours. Also, I want to make sure all the siblings are there and a strong encouragement to the siblings children. After that... whomever can make it. I don't want it to be as big as Aunt Eva's. I want it a little more intimate so my mom can actually enjoy it and talk to people.

Let me know your thoughts.
I love your Facebook profile picture! You both look AMAZING!! I can't believe how much Unce Time looks like his dad! Wow!

We sent you and email. We think it is a great idea and we will be working with you to make it happen.
Nanci Done 10:12pm Feb 12 Thank you! I appreciate that. My mom is not on Facebook. I do want to try and pull off a surprise party for her. I know that is asking a lot.... we'll see how that goes, but ultimately, that's what I want to do. :) xoox

We have planned your mom's surprise party on her birthday--June 16. All the arrangements are made except for sending the invitations. It is at her stake center on that afternoon.

Oh, my gosh!! That is awesome!!! I have been completely overwhelmed with my three jobs... moving cross country and I had a short notice wedding of my step son dropped in my lap which we are having at our house this Sunday!!! Just to give you and idea to how crazy things are... we just moved into our house two weeks ago!!!!! As soon as this is over my undivided attention to my mom's party!!!! Thank you! Thank you!! Yay!

In the meantime... do you have all family members emails? If so if you could be gathering those for me and suggestions of others you think might want to attend.... Also, does uncle Tim have any pictures of their childhood he would like to share? If possible, get those in a digital format and we'll gather from what I have and other family members for a slide show.

Do you know if the church has round tables and linens? If not, I can arrange rentals.

I will touch base the first of next week when this current insanity is over and we'll go full steam ahed.

Thank you for everything! I want to make this very special. I don't believe she has ever had a Birthday party! xoxoox

Is the mother your daughter?

Myrna wrote: The mother is my half-sister, Laurel Pitts Morinos', daughter-in-law. Laurel has two children: Ursala and Gus. Gus is married and this is his second child. The first is a boy, Garrett. Ursala has been married, and divorced, two times. She is soon to be married again. She has no children. Gus' two are Laurel and Tom's only grandchildren so they are highly excited! I don't know, I have 31 and I am always highly excited to get a new one.

All Pitts wrote: Did Laurel grow up   in Price?

Myrna wrote: Charlotte is my oldest half-sister. She is married to Wally Booth Kilfoyle and they live in Idaho. Laurel is next. Cydney is the baby. She is married to Mike Anderson and still lives in Price. Dad and Edna lived in Price all of their lives. Laurel is in the process of moving to Nevada now that Tom is retiring. Yes, the Pitts girls all grew up in Price. Do you remember where Dad lived? That is where they all grew up. I lived with my grandmother just down the street (about four blocks). They lived on the north and we lived on the south.
