Kenneth Vivian Pitts, brother of Howard Thomas Pitts


Kenneth Vivian Pitts, died June 3, 1992, of complications of Myasthenia Gravis, at age 70.

He was born in Myton, Utah, January 28, 1922, to Thomas and Ruth Edwards Pitts. 


He was a World War II Veteran in the 84th Infantry and was awarded the Bronze Star, European African Middle Eastern Service Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal and a Victory Medal. He was an expert marksman winning numerous ribbons.Ken was co-owner of Pitts Brothers Wrecking Yard. He was very versatile and had many talents and occupations. He, at one time, owned his own trucking company, was a plumber and welder. He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting and the great outdoors. He married Lucille Fuller in 1941. They were married for 46 years, later divorced.


He survived by his children, Kenneth and Janet J. Pitts; Cheryl and Bob Fazzio; Vickie and Boyd Davis, all Salt Lake City, Utah; Janet and Terry Watson, West Jordan, Utah; four grandchildren, Troy, Dena, April and Greg; his loving companion and friend, Annie Oviatt, of Price; brothers and sisters, Berniece Nurrisso; Patritia Lubbe, both San Francisco, Calif.; Morgan Pitts, Danville, Calif; Howard Pitts, Price, Utah; Robert Pitts, Carbonville, Utah.
Services will be held at Fausett Mortuary Chapel, in Price, Utah, Saturday, June 6, 1992, 11 a.m. Interment: Price City Cemetery.


He will be missed greatly.
