Temple Work for Carlock Family History

Hi my name is Mandi Bailey and I come from the Carlock side and have started doing some work and have found alot of it to be done already by you. I was wondering if you would be interested in sharing what little info I have with each other to complete my families Temple work. Thanks so much.

Myrna wrote: Three cheers for you! I am happy that someone is doing this work. It does my heart good. It is my youngest son's wife, Arbree, who ties into the line. She likes knowing the history but is not going to do temple work. For the sake of my grandchildren I started working on the line. I will be happy to share. What do you need?

I love Arbree Hohnstein Trauntvein, my daughter-in-law, dearly. I sounded curt and didn't mean to. At any rate, I will be more than happy to work with you.

Mandi wrote; My grandma and grandpa are james doyle carlock and arlene elizabeth carlock. Oakla ray carlock and wilma simmons carlock are my great grandparents and william austin carlock and ida pierce carlock are my great great grandparents. My mother is a convert at the age of 19 and has raised is four kids in the church. My grandma wouldn't give her the family work, grandma gave it to me just this past week. My family is very excited to help as all 4 kids are married and temple holders. I found your work through william and ida carlock my great great grandparents. That's as far as I got but I do have a picture of them if you want I will attach in another email. Thanks so much for any info you can give. I would love to know how your family ties into the line.

Myrna wrote: You did know, of course, that after Oakla died Wilma remarried. She married Howard A. Hohnstein. He murdered her and went to prison for it. Their son, Alan, is my daughter-in-law, Arbree's, father. So that would mean that Wilma was her great-grandmother. I did her work because I was so concerned that she would have no one else to do it. I looked for a link on the church web-site and also on Ancestry.com. I couldn't find anyone who was working on the line. I thought she should be sealed to her first husband because he was the one who: 1. was first, and 2. deserved her. Her shooting was such a tragedy that no one would talk about it. My son's father-in-law, her son by the second marriage, was not quite aware of the circumstances but only that it had happened. I have a photocopy of the article telling about it. I am glad that you will be doing the further work. There is a lot to be done. Bless your heart. I will pray, as I have been doing for the past ten years, for success on this line. Whatever you need me to do, I will do willingly. These are my grandchildren's (Erin, Donovin and Caydin) roots and they should know what great posterity they have. I would love a photo.

Mandi wrote: Oh goodie I'm so excited. My grandmother has had our family history and would never give it to my mother since she became a convert to the church. I asked for it and she gave it to me, my mother was very surprised as was I. Well let me see if we can connect the dots.

Myrna wrote: How can I connect you to my Ancestry.com site? I have the dots, mostly, connected. Someone else from the Carlock line recently contacted me and told me that I had a couple of names of children wrong. I researched and found she was right and made the changes. My tree is called "Myrna's Tree."

William Austin Carlock for Arbree

Myrna wrote to Mandi: Do you want copies of records that are listed on the sheets I have sent to you? This is just the beginning of what I have accumulated. I think you should do the temple work that I have not done and you can see that there is a lot!

I really would like the photo. My grandkids and Arbree would love to see it.

Thanks.

Are you part of the Trauntvein family from Kenilworth, Utah‏

L H and Myrna Trauntvein
I am Glen Smith.  I was born and raised in Kenilworth, Utah, and used to know a Trauntvein family.  They were magnicicent folks.  I think you know my sister Charlotte Ann.

If you are not, I appologize for bothering you.  If so I have a million questions
