Family CDs

Myrna, thanks for the check. It costs $5 to make the CDs and mail them. So, the $10 covered it well and helped with some of the research. I am so glad to be able to have these histories and pictures available to everyone in the family who is interested.

I have been giving the original pictures to people who are most concerned. I have an envelope of pictures of Raymond and would like to give them to you. But I haven't got around to mailing them, yet. If you should be coming through Lindon you could pick them up and have a little visit, too.

Puzzle

The Honorable Secretary of the Launton Historical Society, Pat Tucker, took the picture of what I had always thought was a Congregational Church group picture taken at Wretchwick Farm, to the Bicester Historical Society group. No one could help identify anyone. Then I realized most of the people are in black. And a few are also in the picture of Mary Helena's wedding. Relatives? Now we are wondering if the gathering was for a funeral. Maybe Ann Parrott Smith's, who died five years before Mary Helena's marriage. But Pat wonders about the "buttonholes" - flowers in the buttonholes. She wonders if they would have done that at a funeral.

I sent a package with about 20 pictures to a distant Smith cousin in Banbury, David Smith, to see if he can identify anyone. He doesn't have a computer so it had to go snail mail.

These pictures are really becoming a great puzzle. Fun.
We woke up yesterday just a little chilly. I turned the furnace up but it didn’t go on. We had to put on heavier clothes. The furnace man came and found the ignition thing was broken. It had been replaced five years ago. Then the house was comfortable.

Thanks from Mary, Jim and Julie

Glad she is enjoying it, Sorina sure did, but now she thinks she is a big girl and won't even sit in her high chair to eat, she wants to be at the table with the rest of us, so I bought her a booster seat--the phone books were a little wobbly.

Brigitta had her first band concert tonight, she did well.  She was crying after school because she had used Shawn's crutches today and she was really sore.  I got her child size crutches today, so hopefully the next few days will be easier.

Dane had his Pack Mtg. tonight and got awarded his Bear and 4 Arrows. He's almost out of Bear's. :(

Toren got Bronchitis last week and missed his last 2 days of school. He is a lot better, and it's kinda nice to have the boys home together--they are keeping themselves entertained and reading Sorina lots of books.  She loves to have her stack of books and a blanket, she even has to take them in the van with us.  She likes routine, and boy if you do it once, she insists on it in the future!

Siovhan is Still Alive

Sometimes life gets in my way. I was planning on calling and seeing if I could come see you this weekendm but it turns out that I have stake conference and I need to go. I am alive, and fairly well. My mom is sending out my costume this week and if it needs any help I think I'll be calling my wonderful grammy. I am well, despite the New England like weather (which I'm kinda fond of, now).

I kinda lost my voice on Sunday after Saturday's game and yes I've heard several times that excessive screaming can really kill your vocal chords. So I take care not to scream too much. I'd rather be able to sing.

I'd love to come to dinner sometime soon. I really would. It'd be a nice escape and iI love not cooking and having my own room...

I love you tons and tons and tons. I really wish I saw you more. I love you and will call soon.

Love, Siovhan

...and just wanna stay in this moment, for all the rest of time...

Brigitta Injured

FYI

Brigitta bruised or slightly tore her archilles (sp?) tendon at soccer practice yesterday. She is in a partial cast and on crutches for a few days.

Thanks for the great photo.

Do I need to worry about your Dad?

Note that my e-mail address has changed. I have the same beginning but a new server. My new address is mandlht@msn.com.

I thought that you had changed your email but I didn't have the new one.

My dad has prostate cancer. He goes in next monday to find out his options.
You didn't hear this from me though. For some strange reason, he feels that
nobody needs to know, yet the rest of us see things differently. I am sure
that he will be fine, but the emotional aspect of it still takes its toll.

He told my mom that he has felt for a while that there was going to be something wrong. Anyway, I suppose I shouldn't have said anything because it is his right, but I did, therefore I will deal with the consequences.

Anyway, We love you all. David and I are planning on going to the Temple in the next week. So maybe we will see you then.

Love you,
Kate

Hi guys, Please read this. Love, Cassie

The Trip!  One hot July, there was a family of four, a mom,  and three kids. The oldest was 16 her name is Lila. The next was an  eight-year-old, her name was Kayla .The youngest was five, her name was  Molly. The children loved their mom so much. One-day mom we called. "Lila,  Kayla, Molly!" As usual they came running and sat in their seats, witch  for Molly was on Mommy’s lap! "I have something to say. I’m going on a  business trip and I’ll be in New York for 6 days." Said their mother. "But  mom, who will watch us?" asked Kayla. "Lila will." Said mom. "YES!" Said  Lila, "NO!" Said Kayla. "Can I have a kitty?" Said Molly. "You have 16  already." remind Lila "oh yeah," said Molly. The next morning mom left.  She kissed the kids. "I will love you forever and ever." She told them.  The kids woke up, mom was not there, but a note was.   Dear Lila, Molly, and Kayla, I have gone to New York. But don’t get scared I  will be back.   Remember I love you and I always will love you. X  o x o x o x o x o x o x o x o x o   Love, Mom
**********  She was gone for six weeks. "MOM!" yelled Molly  "come back!.’’ A few days later Lila said, "Let’s go look for mom." They  left. It took one week to get there. They stayed in an old but fancy place  called wet woods fancy hotel of 1620 ‘Lila’ asked Molly ‘It’s not really  wet is it?’ ‘Of corse not Molly’ said Lila’ good because I can’t swim  confessed Molly. ‘Shut your yaper and go inside’ bossed Kayla. As they  entered Molly’s eyes were so wide they could pop. The hotel was full of  pictures, furniture, and glass stuff you just have to see to believe. They  checked in, and rushed to their room. Molly jumped on the bed I love it  here she yelled! Oh now what you gonna send a letter and pink frosted  cupcakes to the shelter Kayla bossed. No cried Molly running to Lila,  Kayla be Nice to Molly said Lila. Molly go get you swimming suit on, Lila  told her, ‘Ok’ she squealed running to the closet. Lila bent down and told  Kayla you striation up and be nice to Molly. You’re not boss of me Kayla  yelled. I am until we find mom. Lila yelled back, who knows how long  she’ll be here. I don’t care Kayla thought as Lila left. Kayla fell  asleep. After about four hours she woke up Lila and Molly was not  anywhere. All the sudden Lila burst though the door, ‘’Kayla, Kayla,’’ Molly is in the Hospital  come on lets go! What! Kayla yelled, I’ll explain to you in the car. They  ran down the stairs and into the car.  They sat in the car what happened a puzzled  and scared Kayla asked. Well Lila answered she got into the pool and asked  you still loved her. What did you say Kayla yelled, I told her to ask you.  Then what happened Kayla yelled, she got out and stopped breathing and  fell in the pool, then I took her to the hospital, Kayla looked so sad.  It’s all my fault isn’t it Kayla confessed Lila did not answer. This  always happens to me ‘what’ Lila asked well everyone always dies before I  can tell them I love you. Name one Lila asked ‘well’ ‘brother’ I didn’t  get tell him I loved him before he went to war Kayla cried. I just want to  find mom and go home Kayla balled. They went into the hospital. ‘Doctor’  Lila said " how’s molly’? She could tell by the doctor’s look on his face  that molly was going to be to be ok! Lila went over to the doctor and  asked what happened the doctor replied ‘she has simple disease called  vasovagal syncope my nurse will tell you more about it.’ Lila walked over  to him and he explained that vasovagal syncope is a disease that makes you  pass out. The male nurse Looked at Lila ‘are you doing something tonight?’  no, Lila said flabbergasted, I’m not. May I pick you up? I’m living at  hotel, My grandpa gave me an apartment before he died there’s beds in it  has water and power. I can take you there…. That would be great! Lila  quietly screamed! They got in the in the vehicles and took off, when they  got there Lila screamed ‘this is so beautiful’!  And
indeed it was it looked like a  million mansion

Melanie About Kirsten's Move

Have you decided anything about my idea for you to go and help Kirsten? If you are wanting to go, I need to know, so that I can book the ticket and get the better deal. If you can't go, I might try to persuade Howard to let me go and help her. I would only be able to be there a few days, because there are a couple of doctor appointments and things that I need to be back for. As soon as you decide, let me know.

Juel Gregersen Regarding the Danish Mission Reunion

Dear friends,

We express our gratitude to Bill and Manette Murri for hosting our reunion last Friday and to all who came, especially to those we have not seen often. It appeared to me there were about 65 of us there.

As Erna announced she has volunteered to host our Spring 2005 reunion. She might need some help setting up the club house where they live. Erna and Hugh Walker live in an enclosed housing complex at about 3900 South and 1600 West in West Valley City. The exact address and directions will be given to you later.

Several of you asked for a list of your e-mail addresses. I hope it is okay with everyone for me to reveal those at the top of this message.

Thanks again,

Juel and Darlene
