Scout Letter for Michael

To Whom It May Concern:

I highly recommend Michael Trauntvein for the Boy Scouts of America Eagle Award. He is an outstanding young man who is thoughtful and considerate of others.

I am not only his grandfather but I am also the Salt Creek District Commissioner, a Utah district, and am over advancements. I have worked with many young men and have direct knowledge of the projects they have completed. The project that Michael performed for his community was such an outstanding project that I mention it to others to help them understand the scope a project should have. Michael involved his school and community in gathering food for the food bank. He showed great leadership in organizing the drive and getting others involved. It was a great success.

Before moving to Ohio, while he was still living in American Fork, he performed in school plays, participated in musical events, won several awards for his achievements and was active in events for his church and community. Even then, while he was in grade school, he showed the characteristics of leadership which are evident in his life today. He has been, and is, a Scout who practices good scouting principles.

Recently he went on a mini-mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in his area of Ohio. It made him even more aware of others and helped him develop an even greater testimony of the work and mission of Jesus Christ.

Sincerely yours,

Leonard H Trauntvein,
Grandfather and Salt Creek District Commissioner
