THE FABULOUS FOUR + GRANDMA
November another month in the making and gone already. I guess you could say that we all have our little idiosyncrasies...(spelling?) Its Monday morning. Erin's school had a marathon to raise money for the hurricane Katrina kids back south. We pledged $.05 per lap and she was so proud that she ran 5 laps and made her school SOOOOO much money. Ahh to be young again and easily pleased.
We went down to the BYU and U of U game with Jim and Julie. I was disappointed that the football field was so small they make it look so big on the TV. Needless to say this was my first football game and I was inthralled for the first half of the game and then went to the car and took a nap for the second half of the game. David said I missed the best part of the game. I knew I should have slept for the first half and watched the second half. In the end I told Jim that I knew I had painted my nails red for a reason.
Donovin is trying to potty train and boy has that been exciting. He
swears there is a shark in the toilet.
Thanksgiving came and went and was thank gosh, drama free and very relaxing. We are hoping to make it to Nephi for christmas time and Myrna's birthday, we will be going to Encenada Mexico for New Years and I think my mom will be taking the kids to Nephi while we are gone to spend with the family.
We have been mulling over the idea of moving back up north for awhile to be closer to the ones that we love, but because I would lose my job this is not something that is possible much to our dislike and disappointment. It has been a long time since I have found a job that I have been able to keep and to lose it would be a sad sad thing
especially since they have been so good to me in working with my health and past substance issues and not fired me on the spot.
Me ands David and my mother are so Thankful that we have the understanding and support of all the family, and I hope that I can make up for some of my past indiscretions by continuing in my program and meetings.
I could not have married into a better family and asked for a better support team. This is a time for being thankful and in this letter I hope to do that.
Thank You Leonard and Myrna for being supportive and not judging me.
Thank You Todd and Amy for helping when you could and taking David hunting.
Thank You Ann Marie and Brandon for giving me advice and help in the fields of your expertise.
Thank You Eric and Amy for understanding what being sick is.
Thank You Jim and Julie for the help in all manner of ways even when you were hurting yourselves and not expecting anything in return, we WILL someday be able to repay the favors.
Thank You Kirsten and Jared for being fun and loving and giving David someone to talk to in his hour of need.
Thank You Melanie for your understanding and to your husband which I have not had the pleasure of meeting yet.
THANK YOU to all the Trauntvein Clan Children for being fun and happy and playing with and loving my kids.
May god bless each and everyone of you in your special ways and I hope that we see you soon.
WE LOVE YOU ALL! HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
DAVID, ARBREE, ERIN, DONOVIN and BARBARA
