Melanie About Kirsten's Move

Have you decided anything about my idea for you to go and help Kirsten? If you are wanting to go, I need to know, so that I can book the ticket and get the better deal. If you can't go, I might try to persuade Howard to let me go and help her. I would only be able to be there a few days, because there are a couple of doctor appointments and things that I need to be back for. As soon as you decide, let me know.

Juel Gregersen Regarding the Danish Mission Reunion

Dear friends,

We express our gratitude to Bill and Manette Murri for hosting our reunion last Friday and to all who came, especially to those we have not seen often. It appeared to me there were about 65 of us there.

As Erna announced she has volunteered to host our Spring 2005 reunion. She might need some help setting up the club house where they live. Erna and Hugh Walker live in an enclosed housing complex at about 3900 South and 1600 West in West Valley City. The exact address and directions will be given to you later.

Several of you asked for a list of your e-mail addresses. I hope it is okay with everyone for me to reveal those at the top of this message.

I have a question about a present and a party.

Did I give Emily a birthday present? I  usually mark the name with a check-mark on the calendar when I give the gift.  Her name doesn’t have a check-mark.

Did Amy get the magazines I sent  for her birthday?

The party is going to be October 2nd from 4pm to 6pm at the pool by our home. We offered for David and Bree to stay the night at our home, if they would like.

As I stated before, I would be more than willing to go to St. George and have a party for Erin; however, if they want, we can do this one.

The details are:

Saturday, October 2nd 4-6pm at the pool (those not going to the priesthood meeting can stay later if they wish)

We will rent the party room for the first hour and eat pizza and cake and ice cream.

Each parent will bring a $5 gift for each of their children and we will call this the Trauntvein Annual Grandkid Birthday Party where only the parents will give a gift. That way, if you and Dad are still wanting to do gifts, you can actually wait until the birthday of the child, instead of doing them all at once.

Let me know if that makes sense.

I went to Holmens Kirke, and got thise pictures for you, so you get an idea of what it looms like. It is build as a cros and then ther is also a room where some famos men are buried, but I did not take pictures there.

The Danes of Copenhagen were and are people who live with the sea. For that reason, every church has a ship. In fact, almost all Danish churches throughout Denmark have a model ship hanging under the ceiling in the sanctuary. From ancient times the ship has been considered a symbol of the Christian church’s journey through the centuries. The symbolism is plentiful: right course, rough weather, the right pilot on board, a lighthouse, etc.

 The baptismal font (dbefonten) is shown both close-up and showing its location.

Holmen's Kirke is the wedding place of our pre-Utah Trauntvein family. It looks today much as it did then.

Kimberly's Concerns

Gram--I did go to the big game. And I loved it. All of it. One of the most fun times Ii've had in a while. 

Four out of 6 roommates have cars in my apartment. And my roommate and I go shopping together or she lets me take her car. Thanks for your concern. I'll email more later.

Most of the pictures in Eva Jane's thick book of pictures didn't have names. I think Dolly put the book together from odds and ends of pictures they had.

I found a picture of Lynville Bonham Smith in there tonight. I think I've really gone through that book pretty thoroughly. Found several Bean pictures I hadn't seen before. I scanned them, too. I'll do the Beans one of these days.

Every family has had a few no one else has had. Thanks for sending me the
ones you did.

David: Since you had the birthdate for Baby  Girl, do you, by chance have the death date? Was it three days after her  birth? That is how I remember it, but I could be wrong (as we already  know) and so, I was hoping maybe you had the information.
